Ideal for reliable on-site base load power generation requiring from 500 kW to 600 kW for co-generation applications.
The GPB06 is based on Kawasaki's proven S2A heavy duty single combustor gas turbine with over 20 years of commercial experience and proven reliability.  At 600 kW (ISO), it is ideal for cogeneration applications in offshore oil platforms, data centers, industrial process plant applications, hospitals, universities / colleges, prisons, district energy systems, life-science and bio-science facilities, and other facilities with thermal and electrical loads.  The Kawasaki Industrial Gas Turbine Generator Unit provides the benefit of a large thermal capability to provide a co-generation system efficiency of over 70% and a long service life of 32,000 EOH between overhauls.

A Closer Look

The GPB15 is suited for geographic areas that can be outfitted with alternative emissions controls where required.  Unit produces NOx emissions of 50 ppm (O2=15%) and CO emissions of 80 ppm (O2=15%) without emissions controls.
