Ideal for reliable on-site base load power generation requiring from 2000 kW to 3000 kW for co-generation applications.
The GPB30 / 30D is based on Kawasaki's proven heavy duty single combustor engine platform with over 20 years of commercial experience and proven reliability. It is designed for installation in areas requiring reduced engine emissions.  At 2930 kW (ISO), it is ideal for cogeneration applications in offshore oil platforms, data centers, industrial process plant applications, hospitals, universities / colleges , prisons, district energy systems, life-science and bio-science facilities, and other facilities with thermal and electrical loads.  The Kawasaki Industrial Gas Turbine provides the benefit of a large thermal capability to provide a co-generation system efficiency approaching 80% and a long service life of 32,000 EOH between overhauls.

The GPB30D is suited for geographic areas requiring emissions control, with NOx emissions of 25 ppm (O2=15%) and CO emissions of 50 ppm (O2=15%) from 70-100% load, using Kawasaki's multiple nozzle DLE (Dry Low Emissions) fuel injection combustion system.

Standard Equipment Special Features
  • M1T-13 (GPB30) or M1T-13D (GPB30D) heavy duty industrial single shaft gas turbine engines, where the M1T consists of two M1A engines mounted on a common base
  • Reduction gearbox and gearbox-to-generator coupling

  • Steel I beam base skid with integral lube oil tank, primed and painted with anchor bolts
