Our specialty? Machines you can count on. KGT-GPS-1750-01

Kawasaki gas turbine generator sets are created first and foremost with performance in mind. But the thinking doesn't stop there. Each set is specifically designed to minimize maintenance and avoid costly downtime. For example, special inspection ports allow internal components to be checked without tedious disassembly or long waits. Our split case design allows for tolerance adjustments during hot section inspections for higher overall efficiency between overhauls. And all rotating parts are precisely balanced to reduce vibration and minimize failures of key electronic components. Finally, our high performance ignition system ensures a starting reliability of 99.4% or more, even in cold weather conditions.

Now that's what we call reliability.

GPB Series - are rated for baseload and are suitable for continuous power supply where no electricity is available or in parallel with utility-supplying part of the total power required. All the models are designed for automatic operation (start/power supply/stop) and equipped with alarm/protection systems.

GPS Series - are standby generator sets, consisting of 14 types, with outputs from 250 kVA to 6,000 kVA.They have been well received due to the compact and light weight design that can be installed even on rooftops or indoors, and the ease of operation and maintenance. Over 6,000 units have been already delivered.

RE Series - Kawasaki Gas Turbines offers the worlds most efficient 7.8 MW, 18-cylinder gas Reciprocating Engine. The engine achieves a 48.5% electric generation efficiency. It also demonstrates excellent environmental performance with extremely low NOx emissions of 160ppm at 0% O2.

The engine features an optimized combustion chamber form and individual control of each cylinder to improve anti-knocking performance and cycle efficiency. The addition of a pre-chamber spark ignition system does away with the need for additional liquid fuel for ignition and realizes easy operations. Kawasaki's fluid dynamics technology was employed in developing the pre-chamber to ensure stable combustion. The engine is applicable to a wide range of markets, with models offering outputs from 5 to 7.8 MW. It is available in four different combinations, including 12, 14, 16 or 18 cylinders, with a cylinder diameter of 300mm.
