The GPB15D is based on Kawasaki's proven heavy duty single combustor engine platform with over 20 years of commercial experience and proven reliability. It is designed for installation in areas requiring reduced engine emissions. At 1.4 Mw's it is well suited for base load use in: Hotels and Hospitals, Universities / colleges, institutions, office complexes, high rise condominium complexes, shopping malls with heating and cooling CHP loads, Ethanol plants, City subway and electric rail systems, pharmaceuticals, aquariums/ museums, and other facilities with thermal and electrical loads.
Our gas turbine engine design incorporates many features and benefits not typically found on industrial gas turbines of this size. Our GPB15D unit enjoys availability and reliability of 98%. |

- Utilizes our multi-fuel nozzle dry low emissions system
- Steel I beam base skid with integral lube oil tank, primed and painted with anchor bolts
- Indoor enclosure inlcudes maintenance access doors, with fan forced ventilation system, maintenance access doors, sound attenuated to 85 dDA, with lighting and ventilation
- 4160 V generator open drip proof type design with grease packed ball bearings
- Gear driven Lube oil main pump, duplex lube oil filters , with air-to-oil coolers and coast down lube oil tanks
- Natural gas fuel system
- Inlet air house with weather louvers, and two stage static depth loading box type filters using water proof sysnthetic media
- Exhaust expansion bellows/ joint, duct work,
- VFD - soft start AC motor start system
- State-of-the-art PLC control - Allen Bradley
