Ideal for use in Hurricane and tornado weatther zones needing reliable back up emergency power generation ranging from 3300 to 3600 kW's. Also ideal for those with access to gas pipeline fuel for long term runs eliminating the need for large storage tanks on site. The GPS4500 is ideal for emergency backup generation for use in Hurricane and tornado prone areas for use in: data centers, shopping malls, industrial process plant applications, hospitals, universities, large office complexes , pharmaceuticals, LNG Terminals, and other facilities. Unlike other back up generation systems our GPS units can burn either gas or liquid fuels - or both. Gas fuel units are ideal for extended runs - eliminate the need for oil tank farms on site. Also our GT units weigh about 1/3 of comparable diesel engine gen sets - with less weight our GPS units can be roof top mounted. |

A Closer Look
The GPB4500 is ideal for reliable emergency back up power use in: Data Centers, industrial process plants, Hospitals, Universities, shopping malls, apartment complexes and office complexes , pharmaceuticals, City electric rail systems / subways, LNG Terminals, amusement parks, and other facilities requiring reliable backup power. Our GPS series emergency power generators go from start to full load in 40 seconds. The GPS units are light weight ( compared to desel generator sets) allows for installion on roof tops. Natural gas fuel operation (option) allows for extended operation time without the need for large fuel tanks on site freeing up the site land for better use.

Fuel:
Liquid fuel is standard. Natural gas can also be used allowing for extended runs with out the need for large installed fuel oil tanks on site. Dual fuel capbility for operation on natural gas or liquid fuel is available as an option. Operation on natural gas fuel requires gas pressure of 220 psig. Operation on gas fuel also reduces maintenance costs.
Note:
Performance shown - based on 4 inch and 10 inch H2O intake/exhaust pressure losses
97.5 % generator efficiency
Sea level site
Required gas pressure: 220 psig
