GPS1500

Ideal for reliable emergency back up electrical generation ranging from 1,100 to 1,200 kW's. ideal also for users who wish to have dual fuel capability burning either diesel or natural gas fuels in their standby generation unit.
The GPS1500 packaged GT unit is ideal for reliable emergency back up electrical generation. It is ideal for use in: data centers, industrial process plants , hospitals, shopping malls, universities, office complexes, pharmaceuticals, city subway and electric rail systems, aquariums, LNG Terminals, and other facilities. Our GPS units start and go to full load in 40 seconds.

Our GPS units can burn either natural gas or diesel fuel. Natural gas fuel units do not require the installation of large on site fuel oil storage tanks to accomodate multi-day runs. Our GPS units are light weight and unlike diesel gen sets, can be easily roof mounted.

A Closer Look

Unlike heavy diesel gen sets - our GPS units are light weight and can be roof mounted freeing up valuable commercial land for other uses. Unlike diesel gen sets our units can also burn natural gas - ( or both) eliminating the need to install cimbersum large fuel oil tanks on site to accomodate multi-day engine runs. Studies have shown that most electrical outages are cused by down power lines due to storms. in most of these situations the natural gas pipeline fuel supply is uneffected and still available for emergency power generation.

Indoor enclosure, sound attenuated to 85 dBA, with lighting, ventilation, chain block and rail for maintenance
4160 V generator, open drip proof design, air cooled, with brushless PMG exciter
Heavy-duty I beam steel base-frame for the turbine engine, primed and painted
Lube oil system includes gear driven main lube oil pump, duplex filters, air cooled lube oil heat exchanger, motor driven vent demister, tank integrated into the base-frame with oil heater, lube oil filter and lube oil cooler
Liquid fuel system using gear box driven fuel oil pump.
Fire and gas detection with CO2 suppression system
State-of-the-art PLC control
Enclosure designed for 85 dBa noise attenuation includes fan forced ventilation system with CO2 dampers and maintenance access doors
